This Privacy Policy explains what personal information DigiLux Consulting collects when you visit our website or interact with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your choices over it.

1. What we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us through our contact form — including your name, company, role, the description of your inquiry, and any communications preferences you've chosen.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit the site — including basic analytics events, page views, referrer, approximate location (city-level), device and browser type, and IP address. We use this information to operate the site and to improve its content.
  • Server logs generated by our hosting provider, retained on a short, fixed schedule for security and operational purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to (a) respond to your inquiries, (b) provide the services you've asked us to provide, (c) operate, secure, and improve our website and services, (d) where you have opted in, to send you marketing communications, and (e) to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third parties we share information with

  • HubSpot — our CRM and marketing-operations platform. Form submissions, opt-in state, and timestamps are stored in HubSpot.
  • Our analytics provider — a privacy-friendly analytics platform that records aggregate usage data. Configuration may change over time; the current provider is identified here at launch and in any subsequent revision.
  • Our hosting provider — operates the infrastructure the site runs on and generates the security logs described above.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

Contact records are retained in HubSpot for as long as the relationship is active and for a defined period thereafter, consistent with our records-retention schedule. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. Server logs are retained on a short, security-driven schedule. You may request deletion at any time using the process under Your Choices.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact path under Privacy inquiries.

6. Marketing communications — opt-in

We do not send marketing communications unless you have explicitly opted in. The only place opt-in is offered is the contact form on this site. We do not offer footer newsletter signups, modal pop-ups, or in-line subscribe boxes anywhere on the site.

The opt-in checkbox on our contact form is unchecked by default. It is plain-language and explicit. It covers all three of the following channels:

  • Email — industry insights, service updates, and event invitations.
  • SMS / text message — occasional, low-frequency. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Phone calls — occasional, business-hours, from a member of our team.

Your opt-in state, the timestamp of your consent, and the channels you opted in to are captured and stored alongside your contact record in HubSpot for audit purposes.

7. Your choices — opt-out

If you have previously opted in to marketing communications from DigiLux Consulting and want to opt out, you have the following choices. All opt-out channels are handled via email.

Unsubscribe from marketing communications

  • Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking that link removes you from our marketing list — across all three channels (email, SMS, phone) — promptly.
  • You can also withdraw your consent by sending an email to our privacy team using the address published in any marketing email you have received from us. We will action your request to suppress all three channels (email, SMS, phone) from a single email request.
  • Although your opt-in covered email, SMS, and phone, you do not need to use SMS or phone to opt out. Email is the single, universal opt-out channel.

Request deletion of your contact record

To request deletion of the contact record we hold for you in HubSpot, send an email to our privacy team using the address published in any marketing email you have received from us, or use the contact form on this site and select "Other / not sure yet" with a note indicating that you are requesting deletion. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion in line with our records-retention obligations.

Opt out of analytics

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where supported by your browser. You may also opt out of analytics by enabling Do Not Track (where supported), by using a privacy-preserving browser, or by disabling analytics cookies in your browser settings.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to gather aggregate analytics. We do not run advertising trackers. Cookie behavior is consistent with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

9. Contact for privacy inquiries

For any privacy-related question, request, or complaint — including all of the opt-out and deletion paths described above — please use the contact form on this site. Submit your inquiry with a brief note indicating that it is privacy-related. Privacy inquiries are routed to our privacy team, who will respond by email within ten business days.

This policy will be updated when our practices or applicable law materially change. The effective date at the top of the document reflects the current version.
